Uses the HOTZ Climbing setup. > > You can access this file at the URL > > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/atari- midi/files/AOTM/Feb_02_Hotz/Aex_hotz.mid OK...set up AEX on my STe, and went to the scale portion and increased the notes to 6th 7th and 8th octaves. Put the index to p, hit return. Set up Hotz Translator on my Falcon. The Ste is going into the Falcon. Hit the CapLock key on the Ste to get AEX pumping. Did not hear AEX changing chords on hotz. Good. This means the notes were high enough not to change chords set up on hotz which is located on the lower octaves. Hit f3 on the Falcon (running Hotz)That changed it to the "Hotz Climbing" setup. Then begin to hit the numericals and the qwerty keys on the keyboard which scrolls thru the scales used in the Climbing setup. It changed the AEX output very nicely and "musically" as you can hear from this file. Recorded the whole thing to Cubase (on my TT) This is where it comes in very handy to have multiple Atari's setup!! :-) If anyone wants to take this file and use it as a seed file, be my guest! Please add to it!! This is a good example of Hotz translating another programs output. Thanks for the Idea DR!! Timothy Hotz:-)
