of course, it would be quite simple. you can do it right now with msg. i'll show
how in a few lines. but - why would you like to do it? any sequencer should be
able to do this, without wasting memory.

now how i do it? generate events. then click 'all' in the select events menu,
click 'new' button. exit with 'back' then click 'copy' in the seq/para menu,
then 'paste' and select
'merge to point', starting with 1/1/144 for a syncopated echo.
