To stay on subject:You started an interesting thread on CN-Fractal where you were taking midi files and ENCRYPTING them in FMst. Can you tell us more about this process? Tim -------------- Hi Tim, all, Oh yes, this was just another experiment. I was looking for a way to share midi files that could be used for further processing. But, as the publication of copyrighted midis is strictly prohibited since some 2 years now, I thought of this way to share them anyway: The file retrinv1.mid, which I posted to the AOTM/nov2001 folder, is the result of the action RETRO/INVERT by FMst, with settings Axis:centre and Lo/Hi note limits A-1/C7, and, by applying the same action again, you'll get the original composition... which is a very well known standard (No, it's *not* the Danny Kaye song from Hans Christian Andersen - was it called 'Mussels and Cockels' or something? Not that one). So, find out which one it is by repeating the action as described... Have patience for a while, to have it all calculated! Bob VB
