The Orchestral Tunesmith ============================ I was fooling around with Tunesmith today, and instead of using "techno" type sounds, I tried orchestral sounds such as Strings, oboe, flute, harp, horns. The results really surprized me and I realized another function of Tunesmith: the ability to compose ORCHESTRALLY! I also created a TUN file as well as Midi file to demonstrate this: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/atari-midi/files/AOTM/may01.tunesmith/TuneOrch/ (copy the whole thing and paste into your browser address fild) You can hear Arpegios, harmonies, octave shifts, Changes in key and tonality. What a great tool to use for Orchestral flavours. You basically have an entire Music Theory Book in front of you with options for hundreds of scales, Tonalities and key changes as well as different types of harmony changes. The midi file was created stright from Tunesmith using the Arranger module. So there were no overdubs or edits of any kind. This was a LIVE PERFORMANCE that was recorded into the Arranger module of Tunesmith, then played back into Cubase (on a second Atari) YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! Its another Tunesmith tool: The Orchestral Tunesmith! Timsmith
